🐾 Join the Pack: We’re Hiring a Full-Time Technical SEO Analyst! 🐾
Remote | 40 hours/week | Must run on Pacific Time (PDT)
Hey there, future packmate! I’m Everest, head howler and Chief Distraction Officer at HuskyTail Digital Marketing. If wrangling site structure, cleaning up crawl errors, and optimizing internal links makes your tail wag, then you might be the Technical SEO Analyst we’ve been sniffing around for.
We’re looking for someone with sharp attention to detail, a deep understanding of technical SEO, and the skills to fine-tune websites from the inside out. This isn’t just another generalist SEO gig—you’ll be diving into the technical side of things and ensuring our clients’ sites are clean, crawlable, and running smoothly.
🛠️ What You’ll Be Digging Into:
- Perform technical SEO audits and site cleanups—think metadata, crawl errors, redirects, structured data, and internal linking.
- Improve on-site structure and performance, focusing on speed, crawlability, and search engine accessibility.
- Monitor and manage SEO health via tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other sled-worthy tech.
- Collaborate with devs to troubleshoot indexing issues, code-level fixes, and other technical roadblocks.
- Optimize existing content and internal linking strategies for improved performance and user experience.
- Stay current with the latest algorithm updates, SEO best practices, and tools (no outdated dog tricks here).
- Report clearly on issues, improvements, and wins—using data to tell the story.
- Support content and strategy teams with technical recommendations that amplify on-page SEO efforts.
- Use AI tools (like ChatGPT or similar) to help streamline audits, reports, and process automation.
🐾 You're a Good Fit If You:
- Have solid experience as a Technical SEO Specialist/Analyst or similar role (+3 years experience)
- Know your way around site audits, crawl diagnostics, and structured data like a sled dog knows snow.
- Are fluent in tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or Ahrefs.
- Understand how to optimize site architecture, page speed, and mobile performance.
- Have a basic understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript—just enough to communicate with developers effectively.
